Issue Series

As part of the Boards and Commissions Leadership Institute (BCLI), Nexus hosts five Thursday Night Issue Series that include local speakers and facilitated discussions on our five issue areas: economic development, health, housing, transit and workforce development.

The Issue Series are dynamic, collaborative, cross-sector events designed to build shared knowledge on broader equity issues. Events are free and open to the public, with appetizers provided.

We invite anyone who is passionate about advancing equity for underrepresented people and people of color – especially any individuals, organizations, city officials, or businesses that are part of local and regional initiatives to advance equity – to join us on these public Thursday evening sessions. 

All sessions are on Thursday evenings from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m at various locations. We will send an official invitation and post information here three weeks prior to each event with details on the topic and location of each event.
