Karen serves as the Director of Human Resources and Organizational Culture at Nexus Community Partners, a community building intermediary, located in the Twin Cities of MN. Karen oversees all aspects of Human Resources including recruiting, engaging and retaining a diverse and inclusive work team. Karen’s work includes aligning current and emerging practices, policies and processes with Nexus’ mission and values. Working in partnership with our leadership and staff, Karen guides efforts to create an environment of continuous learning and foster a culture where the team feels energized and valued by the work they do. Her goal is to support joy and mindfulness in the workplace.
