Co-Director of NCEI

Pronouns: she/her
Started at Nexus: 2017

At Nexus:

I rejoined Nexus Community Partners in August 2017 as the local program manager of Nexus Community Engagement Institute (NCEI), and now serve as NCEI co-director where I co-lead the vision, growth and development of the institute to advance and strengthen authentic community engagement practices both locally and nationally.

About:

I bring with me over a decade of experience in nonprofit program management, curriculum design, cohort-based leadership development, and diversity, equity and inclusion coaching and facilitation. From 2013-2015 I worked with Terri Thao here at Nexus to implement the Boards and Commissions Leadership Institute (BCLI), and left Nexus to co-facilitate the Neighborhood Leadership Program at the Amherst H. Wilder Foundation, a cohort-based program designed to support social change leaders in Saint Paul. I love being a part of Nexus work advancing systems change to be more equity- and engagement-centered, especially in regard to strengthening and supporting networks of folks doing community engagement here and across the U.S. When not at work, I love playing volleyball and making art, or decompressing at home with my family.
