About:
b was born in Minneapolis and raised on the Northside. Prior to joining Nexus they worked as a licensed special education teacher in public and charter schools. They are committed to centering young people at the intersections in the work they do.
A graduate of Minneapolis Public Schools, the University of Minnesota and the University of St. Thomas, b also has a background in spoken word, event hosting & curation, youth work, community organizing, multimedia arts, taking up space and generally being critical, loving, reflective & free.
