At Nexus

I joined the organization in October 2015 and am now the program manager for the Boards and Commissions Leadership Institute (BCLI), Nexus initiative to train, place and support people of color and other underrepresented community members on publicly appointed boards and commissions in the Twin Cities region.

About

I am passionate about community work and civic engagement. I have always been drawn to helping people, and was inspired by Paul Wellstone to enter public service. I studied political science/international relations at Carleton College, and worked for the City of Saint Paul for six years. I love to read, write, and keep up with current events. I am a movie buff as well as a military history nerd.
