I joined Nexus Community Partners in February 2023, but previously crossed paths with Nexus while at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs and The Jay and Rose Phillips Family Foundation AmeriCorps VISTA C3 program. As a communications specialist, I create, evaluate, and design content and processes to better amplify the incredible work Nexus does daily.

About Diana

My background is in urban planning, philanthropy, DEI, community organizing, and the arts. Since relocating to the Twin Cities in 2016, I connected with various organizing circles, such as IfNotNow Twin Cities and mobilizing neighbors against a slumlord. In 2017, I joined Pangea World Theater as part of their Arts Organizing Institute (AOI) and in 2023 reconnected with Pangea for the Seeding Change Institute to develop a continuation of AOI. For about five years, I worked with MN-based family foundations and supported the Heading Home MN Funders Collaborative.

I found a love for podcasting by documenting local urban planning projects and their impacts on past and current residents with the money.power.land.solidarity. podcast. In 2019, I was on the board of Women for Political Change and in late 2020, I joined the board of Jewish Community Action. I have a Bachelor of Arts from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, and a Master of Urban and Regional Planning from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs. In my free time, I appreciate interior design, thrifted finds, and absolutely horrible reality television.
