The Center for Earth, Energy and Democracy’s mission is to work at the intersection of energy, environment and community development to develop solutions that are democratic, sustainable and socially just. Working in collaboration with grassroots communities, policy makers and researchers, CEED conducts important energy, environment, and development issues – so that all members of society may effectively participate in public decision-making.

Nexus funds will support CEED’s efforts to build capacity among Minneapolis communities of color to advocate, shape policy, and take advantage of asset and wealth building opportunities in connection to environmental sustainability.
